Dr. Bryan Kagan Memorial Scholarship

Dr. Bryan B. Kagan was an adjunct instructor of forensic podiatry at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, NY and forensic club advisor. He was a member of the IAI- International Association for Identification Forensic Podiatry Science and Practice Subcommittee and a member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Kagan had a private practice in White Plains, NY and was on staff at White Plains Hospital. He was also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and associate member of the America Bar Association. ASFP resident or student members interested in applying for this scholarship fund must first submit an application. Applicant should be able to demonstrate a continuing interest in the field of forensic podiatry after she/he finishes her/his podiatric education. The
 ASFP Board of Directors will review the application. It will be up to the Board of Directors to decide which projects or activities will be funded.

Raisa Roberto
2023 Scholarship Recipient

Student Doctor Roberto is a student to the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM). Her interest and dedication to the field of forensic podiatry was exemplified at the 2023 International Association for Identification (IAI) in National Harbor, Maryland. Student Doctor Roberto presented a poster during the conference detailing her research in the field.
